Working for Ireland Brown Constructions for the creation of the Nunawading Community Hub which will be located on the former Nunawading Primary School site.

This $25M project will see the transformation of the former school site into an inviting community facility which will offer multi-functional class & meeting rooms, specially designed spaces for dance, art, and counselling activities, a communal kitchen with teaching area, a purpose-built Meals on Wheels facility, car parking as well as a multipurpose sports stadium.   The heritage school building will also be refurbished to ensure the history of the site’s use as a school is preserved for future generations.

The Nunawading Community Hub project is targeting a 5 Star Green Star Rating and will be completed with the integration with Tunstall Park which will be enhanced with open green spaces, new paths and areas for passive recreation.
